Uttar Pradesh Agritech Innovation Hub is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for promoting technology-led and sustainable agriculture in the state. It operates as a CoE, acting as an interface for research, innovation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building, where farmers, researchers, startups, and institutions come together on a single platform.
The CoE aims to create and showcase precision agriculture, intelligent irrigation, robotics, IoT-enabled monitoring, and climate-resilient farming practices. By exhibiting best practices at the Model Smart Farm and making available sophisticated tools and analytics platforms, the hub enables stakeholders to use frontier solutions with enhanced productivity and sustainability.
It also serves as a collaboration hub with top-ranked institutions such as IIT Ropar, facilitating research, technology transfer, and commercialization of agritech innovations. Training, workshops, and innovation challenges promote skill building, entrepreneurship, and knowledge sharing.
By functioning as a Centre of Excellence, the hub enhances the agricultural ecosystem, speeds up the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and enables sustainable, climate-resilient, and lucrative farming practices. It establishes Uttar Pradesh as a model state for technology-driven transformation of Indian agriculture.
